EVENT DETAILS

The 4th Annual Chocolate Festival for Friendship House/Catherine’s Place is scheduled for the second Saturday in October. Guests enjoy samples of treats from chocolate vendors from the Kansas City area and surrounding region. There are demonstrations from locally renowned pastry chefs, chocolate sculpture contest, silent auction and raffle items, activities and entertainment for kids featuring local entertainers.

All proceeds from the festival benefit the non-profit organization that brought the Chocolate Festival concept to Kansas City: Friendship House/Catherine’s Place, a recovery home for women, and women with children, who have completed treatment for drug and/or alcohol abuse, and desire the skills to maintain a sober lifestyle.

Tickets will be available at the door the day of the event.

Who: Adults $8 at the door • Kids 4 and under are free
